IDEA Committee non-reappointment

A 13-year resident and former IDEA Committee member said he was dropped under false pretenses because he opposed a land acknowledgment, calling it discrimination, and argued the council shouldn't declare the country illegitimate.

The IDEA Committee co-chair clarified Park's term expired, said the decision wasn't about his land-acknowledgment stance, and noted Park had missed several meetings.
