Willamette Riverfront TIF Plan Amendment

Historic Willamette Main Street's executive director voiced strong support, urging the Agency to buy the property sooner rather than later before prices rise.

A chiropractor whose clinic sits next to the property said he researched the TIF change and believes the community-gathering use would be an asset and money well spent.

The Main Street design committee chair supported both the amendment and moving forward with acquisition, citing community support for restrooms, incubator business space, markets, and concerts, and offered the organization's grant resources as a partner.
